High Caliber Homes began in 2006 on the slopes of Moonlight Basin ski resort in Big Sky, Montana. Specializing in custom homes, we have built luxurious ski-in ski-out homes in Big Sky. As the years went on, we began building speculative and custom homes throughout the Gallatin and Madison Valley's. We build it all, no matter the shape, size or cost- from smaller 1st homes to luxurious ski-in ski-out masterpieces on the mountain. Building every home the right way is what we do best. We never cut corners, we do it right. We have been in Southwest Montana for over 10 years and our reputation speaks for itself. The team we have at HCH is a great combination of knowledge, experience, professionalism and a love for building peoples' dream homes. We pride ourselves on knowing that every client is in a home they can be proud of, and a home that has been built to the highest standards.

TIM TARANTO
Tim is a master carpenter with 35 years of building experience. He supervises every build site and personally oversees all of the construction details for every project. Tim founded HCH in 2006 and brings nearly 40 years of experience in home building, construction, project management and ownership experience. He established Taranto Construction in 1980, which is still in business today. Tim has been a hands-on builder and construction worker since the late 1970's and brings a rare amount knowledge and experience to HCH. His ability to problem solve and efficiently guide projects is second to none and he has developed long term relationships with many of his custom home clients.
Tim enjoys the outdoors. Spending time hunting, ice fishing, horseback riding with his kids, and enjoying everything Montana has to offer.
Tim was the past President of Northwest Jersey Builders Association and previously voted Builder of the Year.

TOM HOBSON
Tom founded HCH in 2006 with his partner Tim. With a Business Economics degree from the University of California, Riverside, Tom has extensive experience in finance and management for a Fortune 500 Company. Tom brings his experience from family owned construction business- Hobson Construction. As a land developer, Tom was successful in developing raw land into a 19-lot project known as "Cypress Heights" in Rancho Mirage, CA. He brings a very professional and organized business acumen to HCH.
Tom is an angler at heart. From fly-fishing trout throughout Montana, to fishing for tuna in the oceans, Tom spends his free time with a rod and reel in his hand.
